On April 1st, the mayor of Quanzhou City People’s Government Zheng Xincong accompanied with related leaders went for inspection in Shuitou. They visited Cathay Stone Mall and Yingliang. At Cathay they friendly discuss the project construction and operation.

Mayor Mr.Zheng pointed out that the stone industry is the backbone for the development of Nan’an and nowadays the industry is facing important changes. He urged that the stone industry should grasp the change and integrate all its resources to develop further. In addition, the government will take in strong consideration the future development of the stone industry and will enact special measures.

Cathay Stone Mall covers an area of 1 200 000 m2 and it has been realized with an investment of nearly 5 billion yuan. It is estimated that the overall construction will be finished during 2015 to 2016. Once completed, Cathay Stone Mall will be the largest industrial and business stone park in the World.
